Interesting collection of small 'artsy-crafty' type shops. It's in the middle of nowhere. Has a very impressive hot tub retailer.
Lots of gifts and old sweet shop and various things to see and do, owl/bird indoors attraction. Car boot on Sunday (seasonal) shows in the arena grounds (seasonal) cafe prices a little pricey. Had a grumpy staff member but could have been an off day for them. Toilets free to use if you need to pop in. Plenty of parking area
The cafe at Stonham Barns has gone from strength to strength in the past few years, with a much improved menu and service. The rest of the site and retail outlets get better all the time, and the annual events calendar improves year on year. Check the website to see what you fancy for a visit!
Just moved into the area and in need of some items of furniture. Harpers furniture at Stonham Barns catered for most of our needs. Pleasant and courteous staff who spent time exploring options to suit our home.
I have visited twice and been a postal customer. (If I was local, I would visit much more.) The crystal shop is nicely presented with good quality stock and crystals which have a special welcoming vibe of their own. The shop owner kindly responded to all my questions and I'm very happy with all my purchases. Plus, the surrounding craft village and owl sanctuary make for a great day out. Highly recommended a roast dinner at the restaurant.
