I've taken a couple of my cars to Alex now. I'm handy with a spanner and a real enthusiast with Mercedes-Benz vehicles but I always go to Alex to get my cars health checked on purchase and for advice on issues that aren't so simple to diagnose, without spending unnecessary money replacing parts to no avail. My latest acquisition W211 had a loud deep droning which I would of sworn was exhaust related, Alex advised and tracked it down to the notorious torque converter clutch judder issue. Very pleased with his wealth of knowledge and advice. There's nothing more expensive than a cheap Mercedes-Benz, as they say but with Alex Crow you can keep them going for a much more reasonable price. I wouldn't say cheaply but then you pay for quality and that's what Alex and his crew deliver.
I travel from Norfolk for Alex to look after my SLK. I wouldn't trust with anyone else now. Good service at reasonable prices and always helpful with advice.

Having just bought an elderly E270, I needed Alex's help in rectifying a few issues, a couple of which I was concerned may have been very expensive to fix. My first visit to Alex was excellent in all respects - he is a highly knowledgable, experienced Mercedes engineer who was able to accurately diagnose & fix all reported issues, with no fuss & at a very reasonable cost. The loan car provided was also very helpful. I would not hesitate to use again (& recommend to others).
Alex is great and I cannot recommend him enough. I brought a E Class in 2012 and he has looked after it ever since. His knowledge exceeds that of the over pricey main dealers. I drive from Cambridge to take my car in ( a round trip of 80 miles). He is the best in the business and a proper qualified Mercedes engineer ! :-)
