Lovely old pub with lots of lights and lanterns ready for Chinese New Year. Food was excellent and only a carvery on offer but with 3 different meats and 10 different vegetables what else was needed? Very busy so should have booked but the helpful staff fitted us in and were very pleasant. Enjoyable experience!
Friendly run pub, with that traditional feel. Good beer and good food. What more do you want from a pub.

Had a Sunday carvery and was very tasty! lovely food and atmosphere. I would also recommend on a evening if you just want a drink. always a pleasure going here.
Good food enjoyed my sausage and mash. Friendly staff. But there were customers who were extremely loud and could hear there phone going off and the conversation what they were having
