Hard to get a face to face appointment. Everything is done by phone. Feels very clinical and cold. Some doctors have bad phone manner. Some are even rude.
Doctors never want to see you and believe diagnosis over the phone is acceptable or that it simply isnt their problem. Ive had torn muscles, torticollis, pulled achilles tendon, lumps and problems with ears and all i ever get told is see your dentist or a physio! No help with pain relief what so ever.I would rather go anywhere else than here and on occasions i have had to drive to the only open walk in center around 60 miles away to be treated as stowhealth told me to wait over the weekend and call back tuesday. If youve ever had torticollis you know this is not an option!
Awful! Over the last few months my elderly father has had sepsis, a heart attack, and been admitted into hospital 4 times as a result of his GP not seeing him. My father now has permanent damage to his heart and is very unwell. Still his GP will not see him despite attempts to make an appointment dreadful!
A superbly run clinic. I was having problems with a nail that would not grow.On my visit to the surgery the doctor on duty was able to get a specialist skin doctor to look at my finger straight away, as there was a small spot under the nail. Dr Chris Cook was very quick to send me to West Suffolk hospital as he suspected something unusual . It turned out that it was a malignant cancer. Addenbrooks hospital operated removing part of the finger.An Early Christmas present was to hear that there were no more signs of cancer. If it was not for the quick actions and expertise of the staff at Stowhealth and the wonderful service from Dr Rudlands team I hate to think what the outcome would have been.I consider myself extreemly fortunate that I have a service like this in Stowmarket.Well done to them all and A very Happy New Year
The doctors are always very helpful. I spoke to Dr. Brandon this morning who was very helpful and actively listened to me to establish my needs. Really impressed!
