worst place in stow in 6 months its gone from the best to the worst over priced cafe no butcher cold inside dont go there
Nice food and quick attentive service - this would have been a five star review if not for the loud, tuneless and distracting whistling coming from the shop for the half an hour we were there
Really disappointed with my first trip to Mr Allards. As we waited for some mince beef to be ground, the assistant pulled out the greyest piece of meat ive even seen, it was well past matured. I wasnt sure about the particular cut, but it had very little fat. Strange that it should be used for mince. This made me think it was a left over, unusable for anything else. We tried a little after it was cooked, but couldnt eat, just a tasteless grey lump.Avoid
Great breakfast and service, lovely little farm shop and wanted to buy the whole butchers was so impressive.
Visited the farm shop for the first time, while visiting friends in Stowmarket. Great selection of meats and other produce at very reasonable prices. Some stuff was even cheaper than the supermarkets. Sampled a few cheeses and was blown away with the flavour of the sticky toffee cheese and bought a few. Will be definitely visiting again next time we head to Suffolk
